About

I am a curator, artist and art director. I bring together contemporary art, music and independent cultural scenes through exhibitions, festivals and my own artistic practice.

Since 2011, I have realised dozens of curatorial projects in Kyiv, Odesa, Paris, Rome and New York. I work with museums and independent initiatives, from developing an exhibition concept and selecting participants to shaping a programme and engaging its audience.

In my work, characters from popular culture, political symbols and social rituals encounter physical reality: pleasure, vulnerability, decay and death. I work with performance, installation, video, digital imagery and textiles, combining the grotesque, irony and candour.

The Odesa art scene holds a particular place in my work, especially the history and current practice of video art and performance. I also write essays and interviews on art, visual culture and music.

I am from Ukraine and work in France. I am a member of l’atelier des artistes en exil (aa-e) and La Fonderie.
